Child loss can be so isolating, so lonely at times. I have felt at times avoided by others because of their discomfort with having to interact with me after I lost my daughter. Perhaps they didn't know how to handle my sadness and so avoiding me helped with their own discomfort. That is the beautiful thing about connecting with other loss mothers is the comfort we have in discussing our children, our pain and feelings.

This "babyloss" community is a community no one wants or should ever have to join, but its members are some of the kindest, selfless, most amazing women you will ever have the chance to cross paths with.
